Yoditron

A large minimal surface sculpture. Made from 30" diameter steel tanks 1/4" thick.
This is a minimal surface structue made from empty argon cylinders- viewed from the top. Cutting templates obtained by projecting a rhombic dodecahedron onto the cylinder.

Shatkona

This is made from recycled steel tanks which are 30" diameter x 1/4" thickness. 26' tall.I developed the plasma cutter templates by projecting the faces of cubes onto the tanks. The resulting cubes were stacked to form a tetrahelix.Click this link for more about the cylindrical sculptures
